The Arción App allows you to make inquiries, check availability, obtain traceability and quickly identify the location of all the blood components necessary for the care of each patient.
It was designed to allow self-management, that is, each participating institution will be able to upload their own metrics.
In addition, it is an intuitive application, that is, it is easy to use, but we leave you a step-by-step guide so that you know it:
1-Download the APP:you can find it in your Android Play Store or App Store under the name "Arción". The solution is compatible with Android/IOs operating system.
2-Once installed, enter with your username and password,,
3-As a first option, a menu with all the options offered by Arción:
- The "Geomap"will show you the nearest hemotherapy centers or hospitals;
- In the Hospitals or Centers panel, you will see the information regarding the available units;
- A calendar is added, to know complete information of each unit (income and maturities);
- The “unit transfer” option is designed to know the path taken by the blood components, that is, it guarantees their traceability.
How to discharge blood components?
To upload the information, first, you must:
-Enter in "Admissions", and fill in the information requested on the form: blood group, type of blood components, hospital, quantity, date and sachet number.
-The button will be activated "Send", and when you click it, once the information is processed, it will be included in the Action menu.
-To "check" the information loaded, the user can go back to the start menu, enter hospitals, select option 1 and, for example, choose to check the stock of "red blood cells", there they will see the loaded information already available.
-In the “panel menu”, you can also check the stock by blood group, check, for example, “0-” and as in the previous section, the data will already be visible.
